It was on this day 72 years ago that we lost over 2,000 American lives on what FDR dubbed "a date that will live in infamy" and declared war on Japan one day later. As the greatest generation dwindles, it is our responsibility to keep the memory alive; that the cost of that day not be in vain.
How precious are these Pearl Harbor survivors that gathered to remember the attack and honor their fellow soldiers? May God bless each and every one of them in these late years of their lives for their service to our great nation.

Forget About The (Affordable) Price Tag
A year's worth of creepy all wrapped up in one little video for us, compliments of whitehouse.gov.
Can I just point out the irony of a law with the word AFFORDABLE in the title having a theme song called "Forget About The Price Tag"??? Really?? Are there still Americans buying into this joke? And by that, I mean buying into the concept, because we know they aren't buying the insurance.
Womp womp.

Time To Come Together? Mmkay.
LOVE how many Democrats are making the rounds on TV and posting on social media that it's time now for us to stop fighting and work together in a bi-partisan manner, unicorns, fairy dust, rainbows and all that.
Uh.... Hey Dems, you just held your breath until the right COMPLETELY caved and gave you EVERYTHING you asked for without a single compromise on your part. NOT EVEN giving up your Obamacare subsidy (coff coff, exemption) that the American taxpayers PAY FOR.
What planet do you people live on??

Operation Iraqi Freedom: Thank You!
Ten years later, it has become politically incorrect in America now to voice any kind of support or approval of the efforts our service men and women put forth in the war in Iraq. Why is that? I don't get it. We acted on very viable intelligence - believed not only by President Bush, but by many on the left as well (like Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry) AND Prime Minister Tony Blair - that Hussein was harboring weapons of mass destruction. Whether or not any were ever found seems to be the ONLY focus anyone has. Have we forgotten what an EVIL, EVIL man Saddam Hussein was??! He slaughtered people by the hundreds of thousands. HUNDREDS. OF. THOUSANDS. The list of human rights violations committed by Hussein's regime is longer than the alphabet, and those are just the ones we know about. Mass graves. Torture chambers. Gas attacks. Iraq's soccer team. His atrocities knew no bounds. WMDs or not, do people not get that this minion of Satan would still be ruling the country, had we not intervened?
So here, today, on the 10th anniversary of the day we invaded Iraq, I celebrate. And as I celebrate, I say THANK YOU, President Bush, for making the move. THANK YOU, men and women of our armed services who relieved a nation of its ruthless dictator. THANK YOU, countries who joined our coalition. THANK YOU, you thousands who selflessly gave life and limb. THANK YOU. Just... THANK YOU.

Cyprus In America? Why It Can Happen Here...
Know what's funny? The fact that information about the Obama Administration giving the CIA free reign to spy on Americans' bank accounts and financial information has come out during the same time we're learning the extent of the crisis in Cyprus. What would you do if you woke up one day to learn the government was seizing at least 10% of your PERSONAL SAVINGS? That's what happened in Cyprus. Could it happen in America? Tyler Durden thinks so. Read what he has to say here.

Hey Morrissey: Shhhhhhhh. Don't Talk.
So, in case you didn't know, if there were more gay men, there would be no war. Honest.
Or so says Morrissey (idiot with an angel voice) in this article in The Independent today.
“If more men were homosexual, there would be no wars, because homosexual men would never kill other men, whereas heterosexual men love killing other men.”
[This comes (of course) on the same day Morrissey canceled his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live because the (murderous) guys from Duck Dynasty were also scheduled to be on.]
But welp, according to this study by the American Journal of Public Health, a homosexual man's risk of being battered in a relationship is "substantially higher than among heterosexual men and also possibly higher than the rate for heterosexual women"... Soooo....would that indicate that heterosexual men might be less violent than homosexual ones? Yeah. It would.
Sorry, pretty Morrissey. Let's stick to making the sweet, angelic tunes, mmkay?

Lamestream, Sheeple, And A Woman I Adore.
This. Woman. Rules.
I could read "Atlas Shrugged" a hundred times and still find new passages that relate to America today to an insane degree. Came across this little gem today and wanted to share....
Rumors went spreading through the country in whispers of cynical terror - yet people read the newspapers and acted as if they believed what they read, each competing with the others on who would keep most blindly silent, each pretending that he did not know what he knew, each striving to believe that the unnamed was the unreal. It was as if a volcano were cracking open, yet the people at the foot of the mountain ignored the sudden fissures, the black fumes, the boiling trickles, and went on believing that their only danger was to acknowledge the reality of these signs.
Right???!!? Gah. LOVE Ayn Rand!
