We Must Remember Pearl Harbor

It was on this day 72 years ago that we lost over 2,000 American lives on what FDR dubbed "a date that will live in infamy" and declared war on Japan one day later. As the greatest generation dwindles, it is our responsibility to keep the memory alive; that the cost of that day not be in vain.
How precious are these Pearl Harbor survivors that gathered to remember the attack and honor their fellow soldiers? May God bless each and every one of them in these late years of their lives for their service to our great nation.

Operation Iraqi Freedom: Thank You!


Ten years later, it has become politically incorrect in America now to voice any kind of support or approval of the efforts our service men and women put forth in the war in Iraq. Why is that? I don't get it. We acted on very viable intelligence - believed not only by President Bush, but by many on the left as well (like Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry) AND Prime Minister Tony Blair - that Hussein was harboring weapons of mass destruction. Whether or not any were ever found seems to be the ONLY focus anyone has. Have we forgotten what an EVIL, EVIL man Saddam Hussein was??! He slaughtered people by the hundreds of thousands. HUNDREDS. OF. THOUSANDS. The list of human rights violations committed by Hussein's regime is longer than the alphabet, and those are just the ones we know about. Mass graves. Torture chambers. Gas attacks. Iraq's soccer team. His atrocities knew no bounds. WMDs or not, do people not get that this minion of Satan would still be ruling the country, had we not intervened?
So here, today, on the 10th anniversary of the day we invaded Iraq, I celebrate. And as I celebrate, I say THANK YOU, President Bush, for making the move. THANK YOU, men and women of our armed services who relieved a nation of its ruthless dictator. THANK YOU, countries who joined our coalition. THANK YOU, you thousands who selflessly gave life and limb. THANK YOU. Just... THANK YOU.

Hey Morrissey: Shhhhhhhh. Don't Talk.

So, in case you didn't know, if there were more gay men, there would be no war. Honest.
Or so says Morrissey (idiot with an angel voice) in this article in The Independent today.

“If more men were homosexual, there would be no wars, because homosexual men would never kill other men, whereas heterosexual men love killing other men.” 

[This comes (of course) on the same day Morrissey canceled his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live because the (murderous) guys from Duck Dynasty were also scheduled to be on.]

But welp, according to this study by the American Journal of Public Health, a homosexual man's risk of being battered in a relationship is  "substantially higher than among heterosexual men and also possibly higher than the rate for heterosexual women"... Soooo....would that indicate that heterosexual men might be less violent than homosexual ones? Yeah. It would.

FLOTUS presents the Oscar for best picture at the Academy Awards last night..... and it's for a film about an administration that goes to great length to rescue diplomats from a hostile situation in a nation full of anti-American, militant Islamists, and actually brings them home without losing a single one of them?

Seriously?? GAHHH, the irony.

My favorite part was when she said "And the Oscar goes to.... Argo! You know... same as Benghazi, only no one died, the administration answered the request for rescue, and my husband didn't lie through his teeth to cover it up."

Okay, maybe she didn't say that. But she did wear a sweet Naeem Khan couture gown and some bangin' blinged out earbobs. You know, 'cause she's in touch with the little people (gag).

Hey, remember when Rush Limbaugh said something stupid about ONE woman, apologized, and STILL got reamed by the left every day because he was waging a war on women? Yeah, well apparently that only happens if you're conservative.

Colorado Democrat Joe Salazar says here that college women afraid of being raped shouldn't be allowed to carry guns because they might just start wildly shooting people. Wow... really, dude? THAT'S not sexist? Obviously not, since the left is silent. Salazar later apologized (yawn) and I guess that's good enough because he's a Dem.

Oh, I just love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning.

Benghazi Attack: Romney / Ryan Are At Fault (Says Obama Campaign Genius Stephanie Cutter)

Obama's deputy campaign chairman (and did I mention genius? ....sarcasm font) Stephanie Cutter took the opportunity today to blame the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi (you know, where FOUR American diplomats were murdered?), Libya on Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan...

No, I'm serious.

In an interview with CNN's Brooke Baldwin:

Cutter: In terms of the politicization of this — you know, we are here at a debate, and I hope we get to talk about the debate — but the entire reason this has become the political topic it is, is because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. It’s a big part of their stump speech. And it’s reckless and irresponsible what they’re doing.

Baldwin: But, Stephanie, this is national security. As we witnessed this revolution last year, we covered it–

Cutter: (Interrupts) It is absolutely national security.

Baldwin: –it is absolutely pertinent. People in the American public absolutely have a right to get answers.


Cutter was instantly blasted by much of the media and political arena, at which point she took the opportunity to recant her statements and explain herself on Twitter....

 Romney has politicized Libya w/no plans of his own. POTUS' priorities are getting facts & bringing terrorists to justice.

Hmm. No. Here I was thinking it had something to do with the fact that four people died, we were LIED to repeatedly by the president and his administration, and now the truth is coming out...
I'm sorry..... First, Nancy Pelosi, and now Obama's campaign princess. Seriously, these people have to go.

Can This Christian Vote For A Mormon?

In the name (I suppose) of protecting us innocent, naive Christians who can't possibly think for ourselves, the Obama Campaign and his supporters are asking, "Can you vote for a Mormon?".... Well, gosh, thanks for asking.

If you can vote for a man whose pastor and MENTOR of 20 years preaches, "God bless America? NO! God DAMN America!"... then yes, I can vote for a Mormon.

If you can vote for a man who caters to a violent religion (of peace) that is responsible for murdering thousands upon thousands of Americans, not to mention HUNDREDS of thousands of Christians and other believers worldwide ... then yes, I can vote for a Mormon.

If you can vote for a man believes in collective salvation, not individual salvation through Jesus Christ as it's taught in the Bible ... then yes, I can vote for a Mormon.

If you can vote for a man whose spiritual adviser preaches that the notion that America was founded as a Christian nation is heresy ... then yes, I can vote for a Mormon.

If you can vote for a man who has slapped the Catholic faith in the face by forcing them to pay for birth control and abortions, both of which have been completely against their beliefs from the beginning ... then yes, I can vote for a Mormon.

None of those things matter, though, because here's the thing. Mitt Romney (the Mormon) believes that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior; that he was crucified - suffered and died the most excruciating death you can imagine, hanging on a cross at the hands of men - to save him from his sins. So, unless I somehow missed the fact that there's more than one Jesus Christ (there isn't) ... then yes, I can vote for a Mormon.

And I will.

We're supposed to believe all of these protests are about a YouTube video that degrades the prophet Muhammad, even though hundreds of protesters are on video chanting, "Hey, Obama, we're all Osama!" ....  just DAYS after you and your comrades referenced you killing him (with your bare hands...we get it) at the Democratic Convention TWENTY ONE TIMES. Chants about the prophet Muhammad, or YouTube, or the name of the man who made it? No. Chants about Osama and Obama? Yes. Yet still, you keep harping on the video. I'm not saying the protests are a result of the Osama mentions, but it makes as much sense, I promise.
With all due respect, I'm guessing some of these towns have little-to-no knowledge, much less access, to YouTube and by the way..........why hadn't anyone heard about the video (trailer for Innocence of Muslims) before YOU mentioned it?!?!

So the thing is, it's NOT. ABOUT. A VIDEO.
The American People aren't stupid. Seriously, we're a smidge smarter than you think. Lose the act. Give us truth we deserve and the respect your murdered diplomats have earned. You are desecrating the names of men who died on YOUR watch, when YOUR administration had been warned it would happen and did NOTHING about it. PLEASE STOP.

Violent Anti-American Acts Are NOT Acts Against America.... And 2 + 2 = Potato


So, in the last two days....
US Ambassador to Libya was sodomized and murdered.
US embassy in Libya was burned down.
US embassy in Cairo was attacked, our flag burned and replaced with a Muslim banner.
US embassy in London was mobbed, our flag burned.
US embassy in Tunisia was attacked, windows smashed and fire bombed.
VIOLENT anti-America protests are happening all around the world today.
Universities across America were evacuated today because of bomb threats.
A nuclear plant in Austin, TX was evacuated today because of a bomb threat.
And we aren't supposed to worry, because the official statement from the Obama Administration is that these are not acts against America or the American people. They're just in response to a video on YouTube.  (Obama's press secretary Jay Carney: We also need to understand that this is a fairly volatile situation and it is in response not to United States policy, and not to, obviously, the administration, or the American people, but it is in response to a video, a film that we have judged to be be reprehensible and disgusting. That in no way justifies any violent reaction to it, but this is not a case of protests directed at the United States writ large or at U.S. policy, this is in response to a video that is offensive to Muslims.). The attacks have nothing to do with the fact that the Dems had to point out 21 TIMES during the convention that Obama killed Bin Laden.... that's not offensive to militant jihadists at all. Just the YouTube video...by a random dude...that is an Israeli Jew...but whatever...
Please. Stop my brain. It's bleeding.
HOW is this man in office??? How?
The president is supposed to attend a security briefing every morning. Obama hasn't shown up for one since September 5th. We had information on September 4th that this was going to take place, but the president was busy on the campaign trail getting staged (I mean spontaneous) bear hugs from business owners So... our state department gets a tip that these attacks are coming and the president skips every briefing since. Coincidental, no? I won't even get into his lack of respect and response to the life of a US diplomat being brutally murdered... that's a whole 'nother blog.

Meanwhile, as the Obama campaign and mainstream media (or as I like to call them, "same thing") criticize Romney's foreign policy............

Obama On Voting: Dead People Can, Military Can't.

Let's be honest. You can't even get out of bed in this country without a photo ID. Still, for whatever reason, Democrats and the Obama administration refuse to acknowledge that requiring an ID to vote is okay, given that you can't even check out a library book without one (stupid racist libraries). So, if Democrats are so concerned about voter suppression, why has President Obama filed a lawsuit in Ohio to rob men and women in the military of their right to vote? Obama's campaign team is challenging a law that passed with wide bipartisan support, giving military men and women a three day extension to cast their vote. Could it be because the dead / ineligible voter contingent tends to vote Democrat (over 5,000 in Colorado in the 2008 election) while our military has a long history of voting Republican? Yep. Here's why:

In Florida, election officials discovered 53,000 dead people still registered to vote and purged them from their voter rolls. More impressively, they discovered 186,000 NON-CITIZENS had registered to vote and began purging them from rolls as well. Luckily for the departed and ineligible voters, Attorney General Eric Holder had their back and DEMANDED Florida cease purging them from the rolls.... Um...huh? I'm all about fighting for and protecting our rights as Americans, but last time I checked, those rights weren't extended to non-breathers and citizens of other countries. Sadly, Florida isn't the only state facing this problem.

In Virginia, hundreds of residents complained to the state Board of Elections after receiving voter registration forms in the mail that were addressed not only to dead people and non-citizens, but to CHILDREN and FAMILY PETS. The Romney campaign asked for an investigation into the situation, but alas, there will be no probe and Romney's request was (of course) labeled as an "attack on democracy"... Seriously???
My brain is starting to bleed and these are just two examples of the MANY ridiculous attempts by Dems to protect the votes of the dead and ineligible they need in order to win.

Maybe I should have stopped looking for logic in this administration long ago, but for some reason, I continue to be amazed. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take 2 minutes to sign this petition and join ACLJ's fight to protect the voting rights of the men and women who spend years fighting to protect ALL of our rights!  (But only if you believe the men & women who spend years away from their families being shot at, blown up, tortured physically and psychologically, mutilated and decapitated fighting for the rights of those deceased, non-American voters deserve the same rights themselves....)

Bain Outsourcing Under Romney? Nope. Check Your Facts, Mr. President...

By this point, we shouldn't be surprised by either the quantity or quality of lies that spew forth from the Obama campaign and the president himself (feign shock here).  Too much untruth is being overlooked and allowed, and frankly, I'm over it. Case-in-point, Obama's new anti-Romney/anti-Bain ad:




“The Washington Post has just revealed that Romney's companies were pioneers in shipping US jobs overseas. Investing in firms that 'specialized in relocating jobs done by American workers to new facilities in low-wage countries like China and India.’ Does Virginia really want an Outsourcer-In-Chief in the White 
House?”
Then there's this from President Obama during a campaign speech: “Today, it was reported in The Washington Post that the companies his firm owned were ‘pioneers’ in the outsourcing of American jobs to places like China and India – pioneers! Tampa, we do not need an outsourcing pioneer in the Oval Office.…”


Um....no. No, no, no, no, no. And no. Not in answer to his question; in response to his claims.


It clearly doesn't matter that the Washington Post itself gave Obama 4 Pinocchios for his ads and speeches referring to their story. He and his campaign are hell-bent on making Romney look evil for having anything to do with a corporation that only did what it was hired to do... cut costs and increase revenue. The ONLY alternative to producing revenue is LOSING revenue. Obviously that doesn't keep a company in business, though our federal government has yet to grasp such a crazy concept. The companies to whom WAPo referred did NOT outsource jobs under Bain's direction. To the contrary, they produced MORE American jobs and increased both production AND revenue. Oh, did I mention all those companies provided signed statements disproving what WAPo and Obama claim? Yeah, you're gonna wanna click on that.

Bottom line is this. Some people take issue with equity firms like Bain because sometimes when companies are encouraged to cut costs, payroll is one of the areas that suffer. The flip side is that many times other areas are cut just so payroll WON'T suffer, and many times companies are able to create new jobs based on increased production and revenue. The big picture is that if many of these companies continue operating as they always have and don't act on the suggestions of seasoned professionals, it very may well end in the entire company going belly-up, at which point ALL employees lose their jobs. Bain's operations are not illegal or unethical, and if we sit back and take a look at all the jobs lost in America under Obama's presidency and all the jobs that have been sent overseas during his first three years, Romney and Bain look  golden. 



It's unfortunate that President Obama can't run on his own record and therefore has to grasp at straws to paint an ugly picture of his opponent. That should be the ONLY thing the Romney campaign should have to say.... but for whatever reason, it seems like Mitt may have dropped off the face of the Earth. His campaign's lackluster response to Obama's lies makes me want to punch myself, but I'm still putting my money on the successful businessman who DID improve his state's economy, DOES have a record of job creation, and DID balance Massachusetts's whacked-out budget immediately when he became governor and produced a balanced budget every year thereafter over our current failure-in-chief. You're totally welcome to join me (If you're smart, you will.).

Who on Earth came up with the brilliant idea to have our United States Olympic Team Uniforms MADE IN CHINA??????  Don't get me wrong.... I lurrrrv me some Ralph Lauren all day, any day, but come on.

Blehhh. Lame.

Sir Harry thought so, too. He had this to say:  “I am so upset,” the Nevada Democrat told reporters Thursday. “I think the Olympic Committee should be ashamed of themselves. I think they should be embarrassed. I think they should take all the uniforms and put them in a big pile and burn them and start all over again.”


I totally agree. Though I'd burn them twice. Once because they were made in China and then again because they look like creepy youth-bot [insert favorite "-ist" regime here] uniforms, complete with beret a la Che Guevara. Tres Orwellian Chic!

I digress... So anyway, kudos to Senator Reid! Not just for calling out the Olympic committee, but for keeping American minds focused on anything other than the state of our nation and the failures of the current administration by bringing this to our attention! If Republicans Talked Like Democrats..... Minority Unemployment

The latest numbers released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that while the overall rate of unemployment is 8.2%, unemployment for African-Americans is 14.4% and for Hispanics is 11%. Additionally, unemployment for teenagers is 23%.

If Republicans talked like Democrats....... President Obama hates black people. And Hispanic people. And teenagers.

Someone Skipped Math Class At Harvard.... June 2012 Unemployment Numbers

Let's talk numbers. Unemployment ones. I mean, we all know the private sector is doing just fine.....which is why it produced exactly 1,000 jobs less than the number of people who went on disability last month.... 84,000 and 85,000 respectively. Seriously?  Why is Mitt Romney not destroying Obama in the polls?  Why haven't I seen any ads that highlight the mess of numbers that are our economy and labor force under this guy?? I've seen plenty of Obama ads bashing Romney over (factually incorrect) numbers from Massachusetts under his watch, but COME. ON. MITT! This incumbent is handing you pure gold and you're flushing it down the drain. Uh.......?? It's this simple...

14.4% unemployment among African-Americans (Pretty sure the media would pounce on that one under a Republican administration....)
23.7% unemployment among teens
11% unemployment among Hispanics (Ditto above parenthesis.)
41.9% of the unemployed have been so for over 27 weeks.
766,000 more women unemployed now than when Obama took office (Annnnnd ditto parenthesis. Again.)

Here's the thing. I didn't go to Harvard (or maybe I did and I just sealed every document that pertains to my enrollment), but I know a little bit about math and numbers... And them numbers ain't good.
